Rebecca McGinnis is interested in the mind-body connection and creates visual metaphors for our inner workings referencing nature and science. She grew up in Florida and is new to the Bay Area. (print: center, bottom)
Clare Metague, a San Francisco native, will exhibit recent relief prints and etchings. The prints are excerpts from two series in development; Into the Tropics, Relief for the Soul and Market Scenes. www.claremetague.com (print: left)
Clare Szydlowski is a Bay Area printmaker and art educator. She received her MFA from SF State University and BA from UC Santa Cruz. Yoko Tahara, born in Japan and moved to the Bay Area in the early 90s. Her work is influenced by her multiple experiences of Japanese culture and traditional art forms. Her current work is inspired by the form of lichens. (print: right, bottom)
