Handmade Japanese Paper and Mariko Jesse Show Reception

Saturday 6th at 1pm: Handmade Japanese Paper presentation by WashiArts
Artist reception afterwards, 2pm – 5pm
Mariko Jesse is a printmaker, working in etching and Japanese Mokuhanga woodcut. Her work celebrates the patterns, colors and textures of different cultures. She will be showing a selection of her ongoing playing card etching series, along with a new collection of woodcuts and etchings about tea. Mariko’s work is small and full of secrets.
Mariko has exhibited internationally and her art can be found in private collections around the world. This is her first solo show in San Francisco.
