Graphic Arts Workshop will open its doors for ArtSpan Open Studios on Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Five GAW artists will be exhibiting fine art prints showcasing a range of traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques, including mokuhanga, etching, aquatint, litho and relief processes. Melanie Dorson will be exhibiting new artist’s books as well as new aquatints incorporating vibrant color through chine collé materials. Mariko Jesse will be featuring new prints she created during an artist’s residency in Japan using the mokuhanga technique. Eddie Lee will be showing large-scale works produced using a pressure-printing technique he has developed and perfected. Andrey Semyonov will be exhibiting intaglio and litho prints incorporating his signature dynamic linework. Barbara Stikker will be showing a body of work she’s developed after participating in a series of Crown Point Press workshops. We look forward to sharing our work with you!
