Soft Ground by Javier Chalini
Saturdays, 3/23
Learn this variation of etching that employs a covering ground that does not harden. You will be able to give to your creations the look of a pencil drawing on rough paper and add texture to your images, giving them interest and depth. There is no need to know any metal etching processes previously, but it you do, this technique offers possibilities for myriad textural effects, and is often used with other etching processes.
